GEE, WHEN WILL SEXISM DIEEE???

Growing up, I have always heard you can’t do this because you’re a GIRL or you can’t do that because your GIRL. The major one I hated was the curfew time. My brother was able to stay out until midnight with his friends. However, I had to be in the house by ten pm and to make matters worst he is two years YOUNGER than me. Being a girl, sometimes suck because parents don’t have the same standards for both genders. Usually freedom for girls is limited and freedom for boys is limitless. WHY IS IT NOT FAIR? Even in hollywood sexism exists for teenagers Miley Cyrus and Taylor Lautner.

Early this year, Miley Cyrus, 15, was chasitised for wearing a sheet that exposed her right shoulder and back in “Vanity Fair.” The public’s outrage was so bad that Disney made Cyrus publicly apologize for the OVEREXPOSURE of her skin. However, Taylor Lautner, 17, is snapping pictures left and right shirtless and no one is complaining at all. WHY? Obviously it is because he is a GUY. Granted there is a two-year difference but both are underaged and have a HUGE adolescent fan base. Gee, When will Sexism DIE?
